The Australian subsidiary comprises of over 90 employees and provides diagnostic equipment and reagents to over 500 clinical and industrial laboratories. Our strong commitment to helping provide solutions for customers has enabled bioMérieux Australia to establish itself as a leading supplier to microbiology laboratories.

bioMérieux Australia is comprised of a specialised team of skilled individuals who reliably produce, supply and support quality diagnostic systems and reagents to Pathology Laboratories and Industrial Microbiology Laboratories. We believe our Customers are our Partners in providing accurate and timely results to improve patient care and to achieve efficient microbiological control.

Our commitment to continual improvement is recognised with Quality Assurance accreditation conforming to the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001 and NATA accreditation conforming to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.

Led by Anthony Manganaro, the bioMérieux Australia team continues to strive to provide the most appropriate solutions and excellent service to its customers in clinical and industrial laboratories. The Australian organisation today, supports over 1000 instruments in the field and supplies over 500 clinical and industrial customers in Australia and the Pacific. We are the leading supplier of microbiology product, systems and services in both fields.

Celebrating 50 years of bioMérieux

In 2013 bioMérieux Australia joined the worldwide celebration of 50 years since bioMérieux was first set up by Alain Merieux, and every subsidiary marked the year with activities and a photo competition.
